FUNctional Speech + Language LLC provides consultations, screenings, evaluations, and therapy sessions for kids with speech, language, and other related disorders at your home or over teletherapy with a focus on educating and empowering you, the parent, to grow your child's language skills outside of the therapy sessions.

Consultations
Free 15-minute phone consultations are offered to determine if your child needs speech evaluation and/or speech therapy.
In-home consultations are also offered for a fee.
Communication Screener
Free communication screeners are offered for two age ranges, birth-3 years old and 3-6 years old. Screeners consist of case history form and skills checklist to be completed by the parent. Screeners will be used to determine if further evaluation is warranted for the child's play, language, speech, and/or feeding skills.
Evaluations
Comprehensive evaluations are 45-90 minutes and consist of medical case history, parent interview, direct interaction/testing with child, oral motor exam, consultation for results/recommendations, and a written report. You will receive the report via client portal within 5-7 business days.
Speech & Language Therapy Sessions
Every child is unique and no one therapy approach fits every child. FUNctional Speech + Language LLC utilizes multiple techniques and evidence-based practices to meet the child's needs individualizing their treatment plan. We take a family centered approach that includes hands-on parent training, leading to greater overall improvement in a child's communication and interaction skills.
Home-based therapy sessions are either 45 or 60 minutes depending on the child's needs including direct intervention with the child, parent coaching,
and written session notes. 30 minute teletherapy sessions are also available.
